Italian coin from 178-182AD with empress Bruttia Crispina bust on front and on back clasped hands encircled with the word "Concordia" (Harmony) on the back. Crispina was the daughter of L. Fulvius Bruttius Praesens. She married the future emperor when he was 16 years old. After ten years of marriage, she was banished to Capri for adultery and later killed. Set in a swiveling bezel. The bezel was carved in wax and cast in 18K yellow gold and set with multicolor sapphires and a rose cut opal. Hangs from 18K yellow gold rounded box chain that is 18" with additional closure at 16".
